80 degree weather in early march!

Today is my birthday and I can't help being thankful for all the wonderful people in my life. The past 2 weeks with the girls have been so fun with being able to get everyone outside!!!

Mimi is 4 months old! She is not sleeping well and has been giving mom and dad a tough time since getting shots this week. Poor baby! We have never let our kids CIO but we think we may be breaking the trend with her eventually! At her 4 month checkup she was 17 lbs 3 oz. I am doing my best with nursing and she absolutely will not take a formula bottle. Let's just say Mimi is running the show over here!!!! Most nights she sleeps in a swing for 4 hr stretches. We know his will have to change but it is survival mode over here right now!

Claire is doing great but instead of glasses now has to wear a patch over left eye for 1/2 hr per day.  This is only the first week but has gone alright.  She is so full of energy and is definitely our little stinker kid.  She is so independent and pushes our buttons all the time.  If we tell Maya to stop doing something then Claire does it immediately.  The other night at dinner Maya blatantly stuck her tongue out at Bryan so we did a time out for her.  As Bryan is walking back in the room, Claire decides to see what happens if she sticks her tongue out.  If Maya says something, Claire immediately repeats it.  Her kid-speech is so adorable too!  All her l's are pronounced as y's and I love talking to her and hearing what she has to say about stuff.  She is a little love.

Maya still loves school and is very proud all the time to come home and tell us about her days.  She is so sweet, picking flowers on her way to school to give to her teachers!  Maya loves to be outside and digging in the dirt, playing with balls, on the tire swing or riding her bike lately.  She loves to help out with little sis and takes care of her, entertaining Amelia for me when I need a minute to do something.  Both girls lately seem to be testing lots of boundaries and doing very little listening.  We decided it is time to post and make rules for our house and a routine of daily activities so the girls know what is expected from them.  We have a new nanny starting, her name is Paige and her first full day with the girls is tomorrow.  I'm hoping if we present a united front and put up some boundaries for the girls they will be happier and healthier.  We are all very excited for Nana and Pop-pop to visit this weekend and then again in 2 weeks for Easter along with Auntie Erin, Uncle John and Baby Will!
