Santa santa santa

Macy's Downtown Dazzle. We did this tonight... Santa, Rudolph and an Elf rappelled off the side of the Great American building onto Macy's roof! It was so cool! Maya had an awesome time watching it. Actually right beforehand, she says "Mommy I have to pee pee" Well she is wearing a pullup and as we are no where near a bathroom and in a huge crowd of people I told her just to go in her pullup which I know is a big nono, but what do ya do? Well she went and it soaked through and she got so wet and I felt so bad, but we left right away afterwards! Anyway, this was a great time! We went into the Hilton and saw a train display with Gingerbread houses. Then Mommy and Maya went ice skating for the first time! She did so great! At the end we went really fast and she was squealing with delight! It killed my back though. I have promised Maya that we will go back before the end of the year to ice skate again! She absolutely loved it and laughed so hard when people fell!
I LOVE this 2nd picture Bryan managed to snap of us on the rink!
Daddy and Claire trying to keep warm in the warming tent. Claire was such a good girl and so patient, no fussing.... she really is a perfect little baby. Then during the santa thing she just layed in the stroller, watched and listened to the music.
Fountain square... we were all geared up and took the BOB out for the first time it was perfect with the snow and slippery streets!

Santa Breakfast at Joseph Beth. We decided to do another breakfast with Santa because Daddy couldn't be at the other one, and its our favorite bookstore, Jo Beth of course! This was a GREAT santa. The girls were again standoffish with him and wouldn't sit on his lap this time, but they BOTH gave him 5. We loved this brunch... we had our own personalized namecards at our table and they did a reading of "the night before xmas" which Maya loved listening to. And we sang Christmas carols, and our free spirited child had to be the only kid to get up and dance around... again...she is so wonderful! Also at each table they printed out a card that was a "wishlist"... you could write your name and 3 things you wanted for Christmas, which was really cool. When we gave Maya's to Santa, he read them to her and each time he said the item, she shook her head and said "No"... he had a cute response each time as she said no and just played the part really well. On Claire's list: "my 2 front teeth"... which are on their way in as we speak and it looks pretty painful too! Giving Santa 5!
